The Weirton Chapter of Church Women United held its World Community Day meeting Friday at the Shiloh Apostolic Church. The theme was I Want to Be a Follower of Christ. There were nine women in attendance from six area churches. Diane Pastoric presented healthy snacks items to Kim Weaver of the Weirton Christian Center. Those in attendance enjoyed a luncheon provided by the Shiloh Church women. The group’s next meeting will feature a Christmas luncheon and take place Dec. 5 at St. Thomas Church.
