The following colleges and universities have announced those local students who have been named to either the President’s List, Dean’s List or graduated from their respective institution.

Wheeling University

WHEELING — Wheeling University announced those local students who made the dean’s list for the Fall 2025 semester. Criteria to qualify for the dean’s list is based on students maintaining a 3.5 grade-point average and being enrolled as a full-time student by taking 12 or more credit hours.

Those making the list include David Connors of Weirton, Cameron Gray of Weirton, Benjamin Jasko of Weirton, Mariah Pelkey of Yorkville and Matthew Scott of Rayland.

Westminster College

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. — Kaynen Brown of Steubenville was among those students who were named to Westminster College’s Dean’s List for the Fall 2025 semester.

Brown, majoring in sports management, is a Steubenville High School graduate.

To qualify for the dean’s list, students must earn a 3.6 grade-point average or higher.

Southern New Hampshire University

MANCHESTER, NH — Southern New Hampshire University has announced those local students who have been named to the President’s List for the Fall 2025 semester. To be eligible, students must be full-time undergraduates and earn a minimum grade-point average of 3.7 or above.

Those named to the Principal’s List include: Sean Baumgardner, Steubenville; Anneka Rogers, Steubenville; Marina Maderia, Smithfield; Melinda McCloud, Rayland; River Wiley, Bergholz; and Haley Michetti, Bergholz.

Local students named to the Dean’s List, and were a full-time undergraduate achieving a minimum grade-point average of 3.5 to 3.699 included Rebecca Roth of Bloomingdale.

Ohio Dominican University

COLUMBUS — Jaleyss Scales of Steubenville graduated from Ohio Dominican University in Columbus during the college’s 119th commencement ceremony.

Slippery Rock University

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. — Slippery Rock University has announced those local students who have been named to the Dean’s List for the Fall 2025 semester.

The Dean’s List consists of undergraduate students who have earned a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher and attends on a schedule of at least 12 newly-attempted and earned credits.

Those making the Dean’s List included Haley Dunlap of Cadiz, Skylar Hardwick of Toronto and Treston Nemeth of Dillonvale.
