Police reports

Steubenville

Injured: A deer shattered the front door glass of a residence in the 2700 block of Sunset Boulevard, Friday. The homeowner told police the animal tried to get in his house. Police were unable to locate the injured deer.

Shots: Multiple reports of shots fired were reported near the Woodlawn Road-Kendall Avenue intersection, Saturday. Police were unable to find corroborating evidence, though several residents said they’d heard them.

Located: A wallet was found on Oregon Avenue, Saturday.

Arrested: Colin Graham, 20, 1919 S Gilpin St., Denver, Colo., possession of drugs, Saturday. Police allegedly found a total of 40 striped squares believed to be LSD in Graham’s pocket and his dorm room, police said.

Arrested: Alesha L. Major, 26, 908 North Sixth St., Steubenville, petty theft, Saturday. Major allegedly tried to leave a local discount store with merchandise valued in excess of $330 without paying, police said.

Arrested: Brittany M. Alvis, 29, 768 Commercial Ave., Mingo Junction, bench warrant for failure to appear and possession of drug paraphernalia, a glass pipe, Saturday.

Arrested: Christine Smith, 62, 121 Pico St., Steubenville, falsification, Saturday.

Cited: Jeremy L. Ghrist, 37, 42055 Glasgow Road, Lisbon, OH, failure to yield at a yield sign and expired plates; Daniel Karas, 34, 100 Lockhart St., Mingo Junction, parking in a restricted area; Daniel Nutter, 23, 391 Frostview Drive, Wintersville, parking in a restricted area; Nikia Wise, 32, 924 N. Sixth St., Steubenville, parking in a restricted area; Janenika Harton, 32, 735 Rosswell Ave., Steubenville, parking in a restricted area; Shaka Jeter, 31, 414 Lovers Lane, parking in a restricted area; and Duren Thornton, 20, 2060 Eve Drive, Steubenville, parking in a restricted area.

Juvenile: A man told police he was attacked by two juveniles Saturday near the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue and Carnegie Street. The victim told police a boy sprayed him with mace while the girl jumped on the hood of his car after he left the home of a friend with whom they had ongoing problems.

Accident: A man told police he accidentally shot himself at a local shooting range, Saturday.

Surprise visitor: A Henry Avenue resident told police she returned to her home to find a male walking in her home. The man said he’d walked into the wrong house, police said.

Arrested: Zane Jones, 27, 102 Depot St., Flushing, Ohio, improper handling of a firearm, driving under suspension and speeding, Friday.

Arrested: Terrance Richardson, 41, 124 Butte St., Steubenville, warrant, Saturday.

Arrested: John Sharier III, 49, 2626 County Road 33, Wintersville, failure to appear, Saturday.

Jefferson County sheriff

Damaged: The eighth hole at Spring Hills Golf Club vandalized, Saturday. Vandals spray painted an image on the green, and also painted derogatory words on a wooden retaining wall next to the green, deputies said.

Destruction: A canopy and chairs at the entrance to Friendship Park severely damaged by a vehicle that veered off the roadway, overnight Saturday.

Dillonvale

Arrested: Leo Grady, 49. 5378 state Route 152, Dillonvale, failure to appear, Saturday.

Toronto

Arrested: Ryan Householder, 27, 519 N. Fourth St., Toronto, criminal damaging and public intoxication, Sunday.
