Brooke County sheriff

Arrested: Macei R. Madison, 24, 904 Third St., Brilliant, failure to appear, July 13.

Arrested: Kevin X. Bishop, 19, 1416 Ridge Ave., Steubenville, possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, July 14.

Toronto police

Arrested: John Leone, 50, 216 Grant St., Mingo Junction, driving under suspension, possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, Tuesday.

Arrested: Gregory Waters, 30, 1326 Dennis Way, Toronto, operating a vehicle under the influence and failure to control, Tuesday.

Jefferson County sheriff

Complaint: A woman said her ex-girlfriend and the ex’s new companion were harassing her, Monday. The woman said since their break-up, the other two have been screaming outside her door and threatening to beat her up. The other two women deny any bad behavior.

Wells township

Arrested: Samantha Buell, 32, 202 Steuben St., Mingo Junction, two counts of theft, Wednesday.

Steubenville police

Incident: A Ridge Avenue resident fled her home Wednesday, telling police to “get him away from me.” The man in the residence with her told police he “had no idea why she was acting that way” and suggested she took an unknown amount of pills. Police said the woman had visible injuries and wanted to press charges.

Shouting match: A man and woman stood on opposite sides of the street at the intersection of North Fourth and Washington streets, screaming at each other, Wednesday. Witnesses said the man was walking on the sidewalk when the woman started yelling at him. Police told the two to stay away from each other.

Report: A woman crying in the 900 block of Brady Avenue told police her boyfriend made her get out of the car and left her, Wednesday. Police said the woman was “visibly intoxicated” and told them they’d been at a restaurant drinking. While they were interviewing the woman her boyfriend called her cell phone to argue, and when he realized police were on the phone with him he became uncooperative. Police were able to locate the man at a friend’s house where they retrieved the woman’s belongings.

Questions: Police were called to the emergency department of Trinity Medical Center West to calm a man who “wouldn’t stop cursing” staff and screaming he needed treated immediately, Wednesday. Hospital personnel wanted to try and treat him, but police returned later when the same man called 911 and said he couldn’t get treatment. The staff told police they wanted him off the property.

Argument: A couple in the 100 block of Harding Avenue said a woman on McKinley was drunk “and being loud in her backyard,” Wednesday. When they approached her, they said the woman became confrontational and followed the man back to his driveway and threw a garbage can at him before returning to her own residence. The woman, who police observed to be intoxicated, told police she wanted “to handle it like a man.”

Not a place to stay: Individuals sleeping in a tent under a picnic shelter at the marina were told they couldn’t stay there, Wednesday.

Notices: Notices of violation were sent to the owners of properties at 333 S. Fourth St., 329 S. Fourth St., 236 Pico St., 1436 Oregon Ave. and 1348 Oak Grove Ave., weeds/grass; 1502 Pennsylvania Ave, litter and grass; and 2254 Cleveland Ave., outdoor storage.

Arrested: Tucker Salonica, 22, 1420 Ridge Ave., Steubenville, domestic violence, Wednesday.

Arrested: Lindsey Siudak, 26, 1245 Arlington Ave., Steubenville, petit theft and failure to appear, Wednesday.

Arrested: Zachary Davidson, no age listed, 362 Maplewood Drive, Steubenville, failure to appear, Wednesday.

Cited: Tabitha L. Diequez, 27, Apartment 12, 1175 county Road 28, Mingo Junction, driving under suspension and improper backing.
