Steubenville police

Arrested: Heather Lelless, 37, no fixed address, failure to appear, Monday.

Cited: Andrew J. Jeter, 81, 1093 Wilson Ave., Steubenville, driving under suspension; Venetia Johnson, 28, 1408 Pennsylvania Ave., Steubenville, disorderly conduct; Torrie Felton-Elder, 28, 2029 Commercial Ave., Mingo Junction, driving under suspension and stop sign violation.

Missing: An Adams Street resident told police someone entered his locked apartment while he was away for a few hours, stealing a PlayStation 4, xBox 360, six games, three game controllers, a headset and chargers, Tuesday.

Thief: Someone used a debit card that didn’t belong to them to make an $81 purchase at a gas station, Tuesday.

Overstayed: Police were called to the same Oakmont resident twice to address issues involving a woman who had been given refuge there after being rescued from a “domestic situation” in Massachusetts, Tuesday. The homeowner said when the woman began to “start problems” with his wife, he asked her to leave and she refused. She also took his car keys, telling police she’d thrown them in a window but the owners couldn’t locate them in the residence. Eventually she agreed to stay in a motel for the night and said she was going to return to Massachusetts.

No vacancy: Neighbors reported seeing someone in a vacant house in the 200 block of Ohio Street, Wednesday. The person they found inside the building told police it’s the third time he’s been reported him since he bought the home and moved in.

Turn key: The driver of a vehicle that struck a pole in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue told police the steering wheel jerked and his car went off the road, Tuesday.

Surveilled: Callers reported a man on a bicycle photographing security cameras at a church on Fourth Street, Tuesday. The man was gone when police arrived, but a check of the surveillance footage showed him “clearly talking on his cell phone with the speaker mode on.”

Arrested: Brooklyn Nesbitt, 25, 16 Vermont St., Rayland, public intoxication, Tuesday.

Arrested: Ricky Barnett, 52, 1408 State St., Steubenville, failure to appear warrant, Tuesday.

Arrested: Renata Louise Petrone, 34, 3400 McKee Ave., Steubenville, failure to appear warrant, Tuesday.

Cited: Debra J. Lunsford, 61, 107 Walnut St., Scio, red light violation; Daniel Russell Adams, 24, 2628 Chestnut St., Steubenville, driving under suspension.

Jefferson County sheriff

Entered: The owner of a residence on Edgar Way said someone broke a lock and a bedroom window at a residence he owns, Monday. The owner, who was armed, told deputies after he went upstairs to search the building he heard footsteps on the lower floor but the intruder had fled by the time he got down there.

Coming home: Residents of Maragos Trailer Court on county Road 56, Island Creek Township, said an individual who used to live there had returned and was driving in circles at a high rate of speed and honking his horn, Monday. The individual was gone by the time officers arrived on scene.

Overdosed: Deputies said Narcan was administered to a Dillonvale resident who a caller said was barely breathing, Monday. The man said only that he had snorted a powder. No drugs or paraphernalia were recovered.

Parking monitor: A woman who shares a parking area with a neighbor said he had her vehicle towed, Monday. The woman said she’d previously applied for an order of protection against the man, who told deputies he manages the property and he has trouble getting around the woman’s vehicle to park his own.

Arrested: Michael Craig West, 52, 507 Logan Ave., Steubenville, littering, Monday.

Arrested: John W. McNicholas, 45, 606 Market St., Yorkville, warrants out of District III Court for theft, resisting and escape, Tuesday.
