Missing: An ATT Wireless router was stolen from a hallway in the 400 block of South Fourth Street within 40 minutes after the buyer was notified by a friend that it had been delivered, Thursday.
Uninvited: A woman in the 800 block of North Sixth Street told police a man who’d damaged her door lock was in her apartment and wouldn’t leave, Thursday. The man claimed he’d been invited in and the woman got upset with him so she lied to police, but officers said the door handle was bent and difficult to move, the lock couldn’t be opened with the key on the outside and the locking mechanism inside was also broken.
Fight: A woman who said she’s been talking to her cousin’s ex-boyfriend said her cousin shoved her into some rocks, Thursday. The caller told police her cousin had invited her over, and once she got there asked her about her ex-boyfriend, then began pushing and shoving her. She said she fell into a pile of rocks. Police said she had a small abrasion on her wrist.
Arrested: Zane Roe, 45, 823 Buena Vista Boulevard, Steubenville, possession of drugs and improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle, Wednesday.
Arrested: Kory Smith, 35, 733 Kendall Ave., Steubenville, capias arrest warrant and possession of drugs, Wednesday. Police allege Smith had a substance believed to be ecstasy in his possession when he was taken into custody. Smith also was cited for possession of marijuana, police said.
Arrested: Marcus Walker, 49, 716 Dock Street, Steubenville, possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts petit theft, Wednesday. Police allege Walker left Dick’s Sporting Goods with $140 in socks, a sweatshirt and sweatpants he didn’t pay for stuffed in a Finish Line bag with price tags still attached. Police said the anti-theft tags had been removed, but paint got on the clothes and Dicks employees say they won’t be able to sell them. Walker is facing a second theft count stemming from a similar incident at JC Penney a day earlier, police said.

Arrested: Jordon Cobb, 29, 316 Jewett Road, Steubenville, domestic violence, Thursday.
Cited: Clifford B. Welch, 27, 3233 Orchard St., Weirton, speeding; Ashlena Moore, 25, Parr Avenue, Mingo Junction, assured clear distance ahead. Moore was involved in a three-vehicle accident in the 3300 block of Sunset Boulevard.

Blocked: A Bergholz-area resident blocked his driveway so his wife couldn’t leave, Thursday. The man told deputies they were splitting up and he didn’t want her driving off with anything that belonged to him. He checked the van and determined none of the items were his, so he let her leave.
Arrested: John Joy, 38, 430 Main St., East Liverpool, violating a protection order and endangering children, Wednesday.
Arrested: Michael Horlacher, 28, 601 Two Ridge Apartments 11-10, Wintersville, domestic violence, Wednesday.
Arrested: Jessica Lasater, 33, 2727 Cunningham, Salem, bench warrant, Thursday.
