Peeping drones: A Rayland father reported drones hovering by his property and told deputies he was concerned someone was trying to look in his daughter’s bedroom window, Monday. After talking with the man the responding officer said it was apparent he wasn’t sure he’d been looking at drones or stars, but after leaving their property the officer himself noticed small, blinking lights in the sky. When he crested a hill on county Road 1, he said he counted about a dozen drones in the air and one of them swooped down when he parked his cruiser in a field to take a closer look. The officer was unable to locate the operators.

Upset: A 68-year-old Brush Creek Township resident said a man with whom he’d had a political disagreement a few days earlier showed up on his doorstep, wanting to fight, Thursday. When he wouldn’t fight, as the other man stomped away and said he was going to post on Facebook that he was a chicken.
