Arrested: Blake A. Koci, 37, 14 Highland Ave., Beech Bottom, failure to appear, Saturday.

Burning love: Police report an argument over relationship issues led a couple to set two large bags of clothes on fire in a yard in the 1400 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, Monday. Officers said they found a bottle of lighter fluid next to the burning bags, but the couple said there was no physical violence. The male told police he was leaving.

Bye bye: Two people spotted in the backseat of a car parked at the rear of Belleview Park were told it closes at dusk, Monday. The pair left.

Moving time: A woman living at Heritage Place Apartments said she was gathering her things to move out of an apartment she’d shared with her boyfriend when he hit her in the stomach and back, Monday. The woman told police she’s not interested in pursuing charges, but she would like her PlayStation controllers returned. The man blamed her for the altercation, saying she’d struck him several times hear his face.

Taken: A woman who paid a man $100 to replace the brakes on her car told police her car was stolen, Monday. She told police she also bought the parts the man needed to fix the brakes but said she doesn’t know if he did the work or not. She said the last time she saw the vehicle it was parked in a grassy area next to Garrett Avenue with the keys left inside.

Not found: A caller reported kids at the intersection of Pittsburgh and Oregon avenues were being loud and throwing items at cars, Monday. Police were unable to locate the juveniles and said everything appeared in order.
