Tipped: Two portable toilets were toppled and more than $1,300 of welding lead wire were taken from a piece of equipment at a Frontier Environmental Services job site in the Bloomingdale area over the weekend, deputies were told Tuesday.
Threat: A man riding his lawn tractor on Baker Lane in Toronto spotted a man making hand gestures to at him in violation of a no contact order, Tuesday. He said the person used his hand to form his fingers into the shape of a pretend gun, then ran his index finger across his throat as if to suggest he was dead or going to cut his throat. He said the other man had been ordered not to threaten him or talk to him.
Not welcome: A resident of State Route 213, Toronto, said a 14-year-old neighbor is mooning him, Tuesday. He said the youth has also tried to enter his home without permission.

Steubenville police
Booked: Police filed domestic violence charges against Evan Radcliffe, 26, 1326 Oak Grove Ave., Steubenville, after he allegedly punched his pregnant girlfriend in the head then fled the residence, Tuesday. The woman said she was in bed listening to music and he told her to turn the volume down. When she asked him to shut the bedroom door instead, he allegedly punched her. Police said the left side of her face was red, consistent with being hit. She said they have one child together and she is carrying the second one and doesn’t want to get him in trouble, but she also admitted to police it’s not the first time he’s hit her and she is afraid of him. Police opted to file charges on her behalf, as well as an order of protection.
Argument: A Darlington Road resident said she argued with her boyfriend on the way home, and when they got out of the car, he put her in a headlock and hit her, Tuesday. Police say she had dried blood on her lips. They were unable to find the boyfriend, so she was advised to avoid him for the remainder of the night.
Loud: Two people screaming at each other in the 400 block of Henry Avenue had to be separated, Monday. The man said the female walked in and began arguing with him and trying to take things out of his house and he just wanted her gone, but she said he owed her money and had some of her possessions in the house, both of which she wanted. She was told she wasn’t welcome there.
Booked: Heather Stevens, 25, 524 North Fifth St., Steubenville, charged with possession of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and tampering with evidence, and also held on a failure to appear warrant out of Belmont County. When she was taken into custody, police allege Stevens tried to toss what appeared to be cocaine on the ground and step on it and claim she also had a crack pipe tucked in her bra.
Imposter: A Steubenville resident told police someone is using his contractor’s license to do work in Colorado, Monday. He told police he hasn’t been in Colorado in over five years and hasn’t renewed his license there since he left. Police there said he had to file a report in Ohio.
Theft: A Check Smart manager reported someone cashed a $6,000 check on July 19 without authorization, Monday.
Code issues: Notices of violation were sent to the owners of properties at 1302 Oregon Ave., 1919 Orchard St., 1419 Arlington, 116 Opal Blvd., 100 Opal Blvd., and 422 Clinton, all for weeds; 146 Martha Place, weeds and outside storage.
Damages: An Oregon Avenue resident said she left Walmart and discovered shopping cards wedged against the back of her vehicle, Monday. She said the cart return was across from her parking space and suspects they rolled across the lot and into her car. Police observed some scrapes on her back bumper.
Booked: Brenda L. Hanlin, 53, 866 Effts Lane, Steubenville, possession of drug paraphernalia, Monday. Police allegedly found two small baggies of a white powdery substance believed to be cocaine and three snort straws in Hanlin’s vehicle.
Cited: Deonbre Anderson, 19, 1329 Oak Grove Ave., Steubenville, operating a vehicle without a license and failure to control; Ella E. Geary, 75, 707 Market St., Steubenville, stop sign violation following a two-car accident at the intersection of South Street and South Fourth Street; Kelly Whittaker, 43, 720 North Seventh St., Apt. C6, Steubenville, assured clear distance ahead following a two-car crash at West Adams Street at Adams Street.
Stolen: A PlayStation, several video games, a controller and headset were stolen while a family was away from their Oakmont Avenue residence, Monday.
