Sarah Bayardi, a local dental hygienist, shows pupils of St. Joseph the Worker pre-school how to properly care for their teeth, Monday, during a career day activity. For the last month, the class has been visited by several area residents to learn more about the types of jobs available. The youth have heard from a tow truck driver from Green’s Towing, a cement truck driver from Starvaggi Industries, members of the Weirton police and fire departments, Brooke County Magistrate Robin Snyder, an alpaca breeder, an art teacher, a priest, a restaurant owner, a retired U.S. Marine and representatives of the local news media. — Craig Howell
