Mountaineer Casino donates 800 turkeys
NEW CUMBERLAND — Mountaineer Casino, Racetrack and Resort donated 800 turkeys to local charitable organizations Thursday.
“Mountaineer Casino feels it is important to give back to our community, especially during the holiday season,” Mountaineer General Manager Bill Winkelried stated.
Receiving turkeys during Thursday’s distribution were the Salvation Army and Community Bread Basket in Weirton, F.I.S.H. in Chester and the Community Resource Center in East Liverpool.
