Recognition

Officials from Hancock County Schools were in Washington, D.C. Thursday, where they officially accepted the recognition of Allen T. Allison Elementary School as a National Blue Ribbon School. The award was announced during a school assembly Oct. 6. A.T. Allison is one of only three West Virginia schools to achieve the honor this year.
