Members of the Rotary Club of Weirton Heights gathered at Blue Stream Farms’ laboratory, located in the lower level of Sacred Heart of Mary Church in Weirton, to hear more about the program and its plans. Dan Spickard, president of Blue Stream Farms, explained the process of incorporating aquaponics into an educational curriculum for area schools, and then eventual plans to grow and sell vegetables and herbs.
