Weirton’s “Concerts Under the Stars” summer concert series, organized by the Top of West Virginia Convention and Visitors Bureau, kicked off Friday night with a performance by The Fantasy’s at the Weirton Event Center. The evening also featured a car cruise. The series will continue May 31 with appearances by U.S. Kids and Spinning Jenny. Gates will open at 6 p.m., with the concert beginning at 7 p.m. — Craig Howell
