More than 100 runners and walkers took to the streets of Marland Heights Saturday morning for the second-annual Weirton United Way Turkey Trot. The fundraiser event, which benefits the United Way’s charitable campaign, included a 5K run and walk, a 1-mile kids fun run and a toddler dash. In addition, donations of non-perishable food items were collected, to benefit the Salvation Army and the Community Bread Basket. — Contributed
