Approximately a dozen area residents walked along a portion of Weir Avenue, in Weirton, Monday morning as part of local observances of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Participants trekked from Christ the King Worship Center to the Dunbar Recreation Center, escorted by representatives of the Weirton Police Department and Weirton Fire Department.
