WEIRTON – The Weirton Area Water Board reports that as of 8:15 a.m., today, the boil order put into effect for businesses and residents of Dickson Street, Kusic Street, Pike Street, and the portion of Cove Road between Penco Road and Pike Street has been lifted.

Residents and businesses in the affected areas may resume using purchased water from the Weirton Area Water Board without any restrictions or requirement to boil their water.

The notice was issued Wednesday following work on a water line in the area.
