WEIRTON – A boil order is in effect for a portion of Marland Heights following work on a water valve earlier today.

According to the Weirton Area Water Board, the order is effective for all customers on Morgan Drive, as well as all streets between the intersection of Beaumont Street and Brightway to Williams Drive, and any other customers in the area who experienced low or no water pressure.

Crews worked on the water valve at the intersection of Euclid Avenue and Marland Heights Road.

Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, bathing, and food preparation until further notice.
