Summit Art Gallery to host ‘Something Old, Something New, Something Blue’
WEIRTON — The Summit Art Gallery, located within the Top of West Virginia Convention and Visitors Bureau at 243 Three Springs Drive, Suite 1, Weirton, will host an opening reception of its latest art exhibition, “Something Old, Something New, Something Blue.”
The exhibit will open with a reception from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., on Thursday, providing attendees with the opportunity to meet the artists.
“This exhibit is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the incredible creativity and talent of our local artists,” said Gina Judy, chair of the exhibit. “We’re thrilled to share this work with the community and invite everyone to join us”
This show features the works of members of the Top of West Virginia Arts Council, showcasing their interpretations on the theme. Members who will be displaying their work include Joyce Beatty, James Clum, Garen DiBartolomeo, Shane Howland, Dennis Jones, Gina T. Judy, Mary “Sis” Keenan, Diane Kessler, Dave Leppar, Everett D. Metz, Jaci Rice, Savannah Schroll Guz, Georgia Tambasis, Robert L. Watson, and Nancy Wright.
The exhibit will run through March 1, and can be viewed during the Top of WV CVB’s business hours: 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
