Weirton Heights boil order lifted
WEIRTON – The boil order for the Weirton Heights area of the city has been lifted, effective at 8:50 a.m. today, according to the Weirton Area Water Board.
The order was issued Jan. 23 as a result of ongoing water line breaks and diminished water tank levels in the area.
All residents and businesses in the affected areas may resume using their water with no requirements to boil, although a mandatory conservation order for all of Weirton remains in place.
