WEIRTON – Two streets located off of County Road are under a boil order following repairs to a water line in the area this morning.

According to a notice from the Weirton Area Water Board, the boil order is in effect for all customers on Avenue D, Avenue E, and the alley located between Avenue D and Avenue E, as well as any others in the area who lost water pressure.

The order follows repairs to a water line on Avenue E.

If you live in the affected area listed above bring all water to a boil, let it boil for one minute, and let it cool before using, or use bottled water. Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, bathing, and food preparation until further notice.
