Almost 200 area youth hopped around Edwin J. Bowman Field in Weirton Saturday morning, collecting plastic eggs for a chance of candy and prizes as part of the Weirton Board of Parks and Recreation’s annual Easter Egg Hunt. Hancock County Savings Bank served as the primary sponsor for the event, with additional support provided by First Choice America Community Federal Credit Union. Assistance during the event was provided by members of the Madonna High School baseball team. Attendees also were treated to refreshments, activities, and an opportunity to meet the Easter Bunny within the Millsop Community Center. — Craig Howell
