WEIRTON – Two fire hydrants are set to be flushed on Marland Heights Wednesday, according to the Weirton Area Water Board.

The first hydrant to be flushed is located at the intersection of Williams Drive and Riverview Avenue, with the second hydrant at the intersection of Buchanon Way and Morris Street. Crews will begin at 8:30 a.m.

Customers may experience low or no water pressure as a result of the hydrant flushing, and are advised to refrain from doing laundry because of the possibility of staining from iron in the lines.

There will be no boil order issued following the flushing.
