Members of Wellsburg Church of the Nazarene rode a red, white and blue float they decorated for the Wellsburg Independence Day Parade Friday. It was among many events organized by volunteers in the Wellsburg 4th of July Committee and supported by local businesses and others as part of a weeklong Independence Day celebration.
