Weirton man gets sentenced
WHEELING — A Weirton man has been sentenced to 78 months in prison for the distribution of methamphetamine in the area.
The sentence for Lawrence James Reagan, 40, was announced Thursday morning by the office of U.S. Attorney Matthew L. Harvey.
Investigators in the case seized methamphetamine from inside Reagan’s home during the execution of a search warrant. He pleaded guilty to the charges in federal court in May. Reagan was arrested in April 2024 following an investigation by the Hancock Brooke Weirton Drug Task Force, along with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.
