WEIRTON – Crews from the Weirton Area Water Board are scheduled to install water valves on Colliers Way and Oakland Street Wednesday.

Work will begin at 3 p.m., with water service interrupted in the 100 block of Colliers Way, as well as Denise Drive and Oakland Street. Because of the potential of discolored water, customers are being asked to refrain from doing laundry during the project.

A boil order will be issued for the affected area once water service is restored.
