Marvin Manley

Marvin Manley, 47, of New Cumberland, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2018, from an apparent heart attack.

Born September 20, 1970, in New York, he was the son of Doris Manley of New Cumberland and the late Marvin Bailey.

Marvin was a 1988 graduate of Oak Glen High. He was a retired Aetna medical insurance trainer.

Marvin was a 20 year member and the chief of the Hancock County Sheriff Reserves. He was a member of the Hancock County Project Life Saver. He formerly coached junior basketball and little league. He was a member of the New Cumberland Christian Church.

Along with his mother, left to cherish his memory are his sister, Elizabeth (Duan) Calmbacher; a nephew, Daniel Calmbacher,;and a great-nephew, Lincoln Calmbacher, all of New Cumberland; several aunts, uncles, and many cousins; his grandmother, Elsie Manley of New Cumberland; and by his special friend, Lynn Stake of Chester.

Visitation will be today, Wednesday, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., at the Nixon Funeral Home, New Cumberland, WVa, where funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, February 15, 2018.

Interment will follow in New Cumberland Cemetery.
