Lola L. Bell, 82, of Port Charlotte, FL, formerly of Bradenton, FL and, Mingo Junction, OH, passed away Sept. 24 at Englewood Hospital.
She was born March 15, 1936, daughter of the late William Haislet and Thelma (Haislet) Prayso of Mingo Junction.
Lola was also proceeded in death by her stepfather, John Prayso.
In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by her husband of 58 years, William (Sonny) Bell, in 2015.
Lola was employed by the Mingo Pharmacy and Medicine Shoppes for many years as a pharmacy technician. She also was employed with United Airlines as a reservationist before her career as a pharmacy technician. She was Presbyterian by faith.
Lola and her late husband Sonny, both attended Mingo High School and graduated with the class of 1954.
Lola was very involved at the Brilliant Boat Club where her husband was a member for over 55 years. Together, they enjoyed boating, traveling, and attending various social events with family and friends.
Surviving is a daughter, Janet Bell-Folda (Butch) of Port Charlotte, FL, with whom Lola resided; a son, Greg Bell (Lisa) of Mingo Junction; a daughter, Sondra Hilton (Bob) of Wintersville; and a son, Lee Bell (Stefanie) of Mingo Junction; grandchildren, David Michael Ludewig, Mark Ludewig (Anna), and Merik Ludewig (Rachel), Macy Bell Bigler, Skyler Bell, Brittany Harkins (Brandon) and Anthony Sterling (Leigha); and two great- grandsons, Ty Ludewig and Holden Harkins. Lola is also survived by her brother, William (Caroline) Haislet of Indiana, and beloved nieces and nephews.
Lola is sure to be missed by many, including, her beloved dog Haylee.
