MaryAnn DeLuca, 82, of Weirton, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2019, at her home.
She was born Nov. 11, 1936, in Weirton, the daughter of the late Joseph and Lena Muzi Melto. She was also preceded in death by her brother Louis Melto.
MaryAnn was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church. Along with her husband Vincent, she was very supportive of the youth sporting events in the valley. Also, she enjoyed her time working in the cafeteria at Madonna High School for many years.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Vincent DeLuca whom she married May 31, 1958; sons, Vinnie DeLuca of Weirton and Joseph (Darcii) of Manassas, VA; daughters Linda DeLuca of Glendale, AZ and Juliana DeLuca Daugherty of Weirton; brothers, Richard Melto and Joseph (Kathy) Melto, all of Weirton, and grandchildren, Christopher Stewart, Joshua Stewart, Madalena Daugherty and Nina Daugherty.
Friends will be received Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St., Weirton, WV. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday 10am at St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church with Reverend Father Dennis Schuelkens officiating. Interment will follow in St. Paul Cemetery, Weirton.
