Vitalia Fazi, 90, of Steubenville, died Sunday, February 9, 2020, under the care of her family.
She was born March 15, 1929, in Secinaro, Aquila, Italy. She is the daughter of the late Antonio and Antonia Santarelli Maggi.
Also, preceding her in death are her husband, John Fazi; three sisters, Domenica Maggi, Pasqualina Maggi and Salvina Maggi. She is survived by her daughter, Lillian (Doug) Bricker; two grandsons, Brian (Amy) Bricker of Pittsburgh, and Kevin (Tiffany) Bricker of Augusta, ME; five great-grandchildren, Vitalia, Aidan, Ella, Vincent and Dominic.
She worked as a seamstress at Kaufman’s for over 10 years, where her sewing talents were well recognized. She enjoyed cooking, baking and gardening.
Calling hours will be Wednesday, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville, OH. Following visitation, a funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m., at Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
