Carla Kay Hollenbeck, 73, of Las Vegas, NV, passed away on Friday, October 23, 2020.
She was born November 24, 1946, in Steubenville Ohio Valley Hospital and was a 1964 Graduate of Steubenville High School.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Eulala “Sis” Kosikowski, father, James Robert Rouse, and sister, Karen L. Anderson.
Carla moved to Las Vegas in 1973 and instinctively pursued occupations in gaming, home refurbishment and bartending.
A very hard worker in providing for her family, Carla was a strong, beautiful, free-spirited person who loved her family and enjoyed four-wheeling, skeet shooting, lake/ mountain activities and doing backflips in her pool.
She loved cheering for her two favorite hockey teams (Penguins & Golden Knights) with the same passion & intensity she brought to life.
She is survived by her loving and caring husband of 28 years, LeRoy “Skip” Hollenbeck; sons Richard (Jennifer) Applegarth and Larry (Sharon) Hollenbeck, both of Las Vegas; daughter Tami (Bill) Henderson of Arizona; seven grandchildren: Kyle, Kirsten, Deandra, Jessica (Ivan), Johnny, Bodey, Bailee and two great- grandchildren: Kayeen and Evan. She is also survived by her four nephews Steven (Lisa) Anderson of Pittsburgh, Jeffery (Sarah) Anderson of Steubenville, and Michael (Deanne) Anderson and Brian Anderson, both of Las Vegas.
