Louis H. Craig, 76, of Wintersville died Friday, January 22, 2021 at Trinity West Medical Center. He was born April 2, 1944 in Steubenville, Ohio. He is the son of the late Hillman Craig and Rachel Owens Tolbert.

Lou was proud to have served his country in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1966. He retired from Weirton Steel Corporation. When his sons were young, he coached Little League for many years and often still told stories about those days. He is the former pastor of Raynes United Methodist Church in Mingo Jct., Ohio. After retirement, Lou worked at M&M Hardware and enjoyed talking with his customers. Lou was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He was a lifetime fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and enjoyed watching boxing.

Surviving are his wife Carole Kirlangitis Craig, whom he married July 7, 1964; three sons, Michael (Komel) of Charlotte, NC, John of Mingo Jct., and Barry of Steubenville; one daughter Tami (Sean) Hagerty of Bloomingdale; one brother John (Valerie) Craig of Stone Creek, OH; one sister Renee Nuzum of Wintersville; seven grand- children Anthony & Vinny Craig, Lainie & Landon Hagerty, Alec & Graci Craig and Chloe Craig.

Calling hours will be Thursday from 3-6 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 10 am. Pastor Randy Sells will officiate. Burial will follow at Fort Steuben Burial Estates.
