JUDY H. THORPE

She was born on October 21, 1957 in Steubenville, OH, to the late Roy and Laveta (Call) Hooker. She graduated from Wintersville High School, OH, 1975 and attended The Ohio State University, University of South Carolina and earned degrees in English Literature, accounting and a CPA degree.

She worked in banking and public accounting.

Judy married her college sweetheart, Richard “Rick” Thorpe in 1983. Her family lived in Orangeburg, SC, Orlando, FL and then moved to Palm City, FL in 2005.

She is survived by her husband Richard, Palm City FL; a son, Alex; a daughter, Jenna; sister, Becky (Noel) DaSilva, Palm City, FL; sister- in-law, Renee Thorpe Infinger, Matthews, NC; three nephews, a neice and their families, and several cousins.

Judy’s sweet, gracious and kind spirit will be greatly missed. She leaves behind many family members and friends to cherish her memory.

A memorial service will be held on October 2, 2021 at 11:00 am, Palm City Presbyterian Church, Palm City, FL.
