Virginia Hibbs
Virginia Jean Hibbs, 98, a longtime resident of Brightwood Nursing Home of Follansbee, passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2021.
Born in Montgomery Creek, Kentucky on May 11, 1923, she was the daughter of the late B.H. and Evelyn (Everidge) Leadmon.
Virginia was a Jehovah’s Witness.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hibbs.
Surviving are two daughters, Eleanor Rae Russell of Washington State and Carole Ricca of Weirton; also by seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Private arrangements were handled by the Nixon Funeral Home.
