Mary Perun

Mary was born June 15, 1929, in Stratton, OH daughter of the late Andrew and Anna (Zdinak) Blaner.

She was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Toronto.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Edward J. Perun, on May 11, 2012; son, Vincent Perun, in 2020; three brothers, John, Andy, and Joe Blaner; sister, Anna Westlake.

Surviving are three sons, Edward P. (Annie) Perun of Toronto, Mark (Cheryle) Perun of Kettering, OH and Tim (Denise) Perun of Bridgeton, MO; two daughters, Patti (Bob) Oxier and Mariella (Bill) Haught both of Toronto; daughter-in-law, Jo Ann Perun of Pasadena, CA; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Thursday Oct. 6, 2022, from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. A Funeral Liturgy with Mass will follow on Friday at 10 am at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Toronto. Father Thomas Vennitti will celebrate, and burial will follow in the Toronto Union Cemetery.

Additional visitation will be held Friday morning at the church from 9:15 am to 10 am. A Vigil Service will be held at 1:30 pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
