Umbert graduated from Brooke High School Class of 1969. Upon graduation, Umbert moved to New York City and began a successful fashion modeling career with the Wilhelmina agency. This led him to the world of Interior Design. In the early 1980’s, he couldn’t resist the lure of the California scene and moved to Santa Monica, CA where modeling evolved into acting. In addition to print ads, he appeared in “The Bold and The Beautiful” and many television commercials. His interior design business continued to grow while he pursued his love of fitness. Being his energetic self, he took his business knowledge, eye for design, and love of fitness to start a company that developed and distributed physical fitness equipment. In the early 2000’s, Umbert moved to Puerto Vallarta where he embraced the people and the culture with gusto. The Studio Umberto Interior Design always exceeded customer expectations with his innate ability to create the perfect design for his clients’ style and personality.

Throughout the years, he traveled the world over leaving countless smiles and long-lasting friendships in his path. He will be greatly missed by all of us.
