WILMA BURTON

She was born July 21, 1953, in Beech Bottom, WV, the daughter of the late James and Marie (Mercer) Leek.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Cathy Leek and Sue Mercer and a brother Ben Leek.

Surviving are her husband, Richard Burton of New Cumberland; a daughter, Betty (Sonnie) Cameron of New Cumberland; two sons, Mike (Amy) Burton and Mitchell (Lisa) Burton both of New Cumberland; eight grandchildren, Gavin, Caleb, Kamy, Nathaniel, Kaidyn, Colton, Lacey and Baylee; a brother, James Leek of New Cumberland; a sister, Margaret Ammons of Steubenville; also several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 24, 2024, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Nixon Funeral Home, New Cumberland WV, where funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 25.

Interment will follow at New Cumberland Cemetery.
