Home, garden show sure sign of spring

Spring is just around the corner, which means many of our residents will begin thinking about various home improvement projects.

For those looking for ideas, or simply wanting to check out some of what our local businesses might have to offer, we hope you will stop by the Tri-State Home and Garden Show this Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Serbian-American Cultural Center in Weirton.

Whether you are looking for ideas for gardening around your home, putting on a new roof, getting some new flooring, landscaping or some other project, there is sure to be something to pique your interest.

Approximately 80 vendors are set to take part, and in its fifth year, the Tri-State Home and Garden Show always draws a crowd of residents from throughout the region.

This year, there will be a special addition with the appearance of HGTV personality and designer Casey Noble Saturday afternoon. Noble, who has starred on the show “Design on a Dime,” will be on hand to meet attendees and sign autographs.

And remember, that it’s all free of charge.

We thank DeNoon Lumber, Weirton Medical Center and Panhandle Cleaning and Restoration for, once again, serving as the event sponsors, and Beyond Marketing, the Weirton Area Chamber of Commerce and Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce for making the show possible.

It is sure to be a great time for everyone, no matter your project plans. We hope to see you there.
