Today’s youth need to learn respect

To the Editor,

This is in regards to vandalism at cemeteries.

It’s a disgrace that we can’t rest in peace. We have had to struggle with our health throughout the years, and then to be able not to be at peace.

That’s the trouble in today’s world. No one has respect for anyone else’s property, and parents today just want to be rid of their kids and not teach them to be respectful of others.

If you don’t want to be bothered with your kids, then you shouldn’t have had them. The best solution for these juvenile delinquents is to put them in jail for one day so that they know what to look forward to in the future for prison.

I’ve had more than my share of being taunted by these juvenile delinquents. Parents need to take an interest in their children’s lives.

Remember, one day you might be laid out at a cemetery and someone comes along and destroys your grave site.
