A vote yes is not a vote for the children and education, but a vote for those who are making money off the children. How much will the total debt really be after 30 years with interest, insurances and fees? Who's getting the money from the interest? Who's profitting from selling the bond issue? What rate do they get? How much are the lawyers, organizers, unions, engineers, architects, contractors, and whoever else connected to the project getting? "Consolidation plans" also always include raises for the teachers and others. Why do they keep getting raises, while the rest of the taxpayers have to tighten their belts and even lose THEIR jobs? Always follow the money. See all the WV legislative bills which continually reward teachers each year, even while Hancock School superintendent Smith had to admit last week that there are over 100 kids less this year! (Forbes article shows WV is 3rd place: people moving OUT in 2012. This is AFTER Hancock levy was passed in 2010!)
