Sept. 18

Salvatore Licata, Newell, pleaded guilty to shoplifting. Fined $50 and assessed court costs. Ordered to pay restitution.

Derek Cross, Bellaire, pleaded guilty to fleeing on foot. Sentenced to three days in jail. Fined $100 and assessed court costs. Pleaded guilty to public intoxication. Fined $50 and assessed court costs.

Russell Whittaker, Mount Pleasant, Ohio, pleaded guilty to three counts of destruction of property. Sentenced to nine days in jail on each count. Assessed $160.80 in court costs on each and ordered to pay $700 in restitution. Pleaded guilty to domestic battery. Sentenced to one year in jail, converted to one year home confinement with work release. Assessed $160.80 in court costs and home confinement fees. Pleaded guilty to assault. Sentenced to nine days in jail. Assessed $160.80 in court costs. Charges of obstructing an officer (two counts) and public intoxication dismissed at prosecutor's request.

John Pulice Jr., Weirton, charge of disorderly conduct dismissed at prosecutor's request.

Sept. 19

Earl McAbee, Weirton, pleaded guilty to violation of a protective order (two counts). Sentenced to six months in jail with six months suspended. Must serve 24 hours' jail time. Placed on six months' unsupervised probation to run consecutively. Fined $250 on each count. Assessed court costs and a $35 probation fee. Charges of stalking and violating a protective order dismissed at prosecutor's request.
