WEIRTON - Family Connections' "There's No Place Like Home" fundraiser will be held at 6 p.m. April 27 at the Serbian American Cultural Center located on Colliers Way.
The event will include appetizers, beverages, dinner, dancing, auctions and drawings.
Four levels of recognition are being offered to business and individuals, including Ruby Level, $1,000; Emerald Level, $500; Silver Level, $250; and Yellow Brick Road, $100. Public recognition and tickets to the event accompany most of the levels. The organization also welcomes cash donations of any amount.
VOLUNTEER — Ryan Lancaster, son of Carolee Lancaster and grandson of Jean Bartholow, who are both Family Connections auxiliary volunteers, will be one of many volunteers at the “There’s No Place Like Home” fundraiser dinner April 27. -- Contributed
Tickets are available for $25 per person. They may be purchased by calling Family Connections at (304) 723-3423 or by contacting any member of auxiliary or board of directors. Proceeds benefit those girls living at Brooke Place.
Family Connections operates as a licensed nonprofit child care agency and behavioral health center. The agency provides residential treatment services for teenage girls at its Brooke Place facility in Colliers, and provides out-patient counseling services at its Weirton Medical Center location. It receives funding from the WV Department of Health and Human Services, Medicaid, Medicare, private insurances, self-pay, and contributions.
