Community Days booths available
FOLLANSBEE - The Follansbee Community Days Committee will accept applications for booths for this year's festival, which will be held July 12-14 at the Follansbee Park parking lot.
Applications can be picked up from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at the City Building, 872 Main St., and must be returned no later than June 21.
ABATE motorcycle ride planned Saturday
WEIRTON - ABATE of West Virginia's Upper Ohio Valley Chapter will host its 19th-annual "Bugs Outta Bikes" motorcycle ride on Saturday.
The ride will start at Shooterz . Registration will begin at noon, with the first bike leaving at 1 p.m.
An entry fee will be waived for those becoming a new member of ABATE at registration.

Group to host spay-neuter clinic
WINTERSVILLE - The Brooke County Animal Welfare League will sponsor a Roaming Animal Sterilization Clinic at Low Cost spay-neuter clinic for dogs and cats on May 4-5 at the Jefferson County Airpark.

WSX Management Club to meet
WEIRTON - The Weirton Steel Management Club will meet at 5:30 p.m. Monday at Giovanni's Restaurant (former Gio's Family Restaurant) in the banquet room. All members and former members are invited to attend the dinner and social time.
Tag-in event planned at fairgrounds
SMITHFIELD - A tag-in event is planned May 4 at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds at Friendship Park.
All Jefferson County youth ages 8-19 planning to sell a market animal - hog, lamb, goat, feeder or dairy beef feeder steer - as an independent exhibitor or as a 4-H member or with FFA at the 2013 Jefferson County Fair must bring their animal or animals. There can be no more than two market animals.
The tag-in will take place in front of the fair office from 8 a.m. to 11 am.
