Arrested: Jacob T. Nale, 19, 1129 Neville St., Follansbee, warrant for possession of heroin, Aug. 21.

Arrested: Michael A. Rine, 46, Wellsburg, driving under the influence, Saturday.

Arrested: David M. Bennett, 55, 349 Rockdale Road, Follansbee, domestic battery, Sunday.

Arrested: Shawn M. McClure, 23, 3232 Elm St., Weirton, possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, Monday.

Arrested: Shawn M. Anderson, 29, 941 Barone Drive, Weirton, obstructing an officer and possession of drug paraphernalia, Monday.

Theft: Copper wire and piping was reported taken from two vacant homes in the Hooverson Heights area, one on May Road and the other on Rockdale Road. The May Road robbery was discovered Friday. The robbery at the Rockdale Road home, where a basement door had been forced open, was discovered Monday.

Theft: A brush mower and a riding mower were taken from a storage building on Genteel Ridge in Wellsurg. The theft was reported Sunday.
