RICHARDS, Alma Grace, 92, of Third St., Southeast Carollton, formerly of Akron, died early Monday morning, September 16, 2013, in the Carroll Golden Age Retreat at Carrollton.
Born March 13, 1921, in Steubenville, she was a daughter of the late Loren J. and Margaret Grace Jackman Richards.
Alma Grace had worked for Durkee Famous Foods of Norwalk, Ohio, from 1948-1956 then worked as a secretary for B.F. Goodrich Corp. of Akron, retiring in 1984.
She was a WWII veteran of the Army WAC and a member of the Akron American Legion Post 209.
She is survived by eight nieces and three nephews including Adele Miller of Carrollton.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Sweeney-Dodds Funeral Home of Carrollton with Pastor Jerry Rinehart officiating.
Burial will follow in the Perrysville Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
