The Mary H. Weir Public Library in Weirton will host the opening of a new photography exhibit to the topic of "Sunsets" beginning Saturday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The exhibit by members of the Upper Ohio Valley Camera Club is being showcased outdoors in "The Gallery," which is behind the library off Walnut Street.
Featured are 17 laminated poster pictures displayed on wooden structures.
Those attending will meet in "The Gallery" first to view the pictures, weather permitting. Afterwards, there will be a slide show of sunsets, a table display of sunset prints and and an opportunity to meet the photographers in the library's activity room.
There will be a free drawing of sunset pictures. and refreshments will be served. There is no charge to attend.
After the official opening Saturday, the pictures will remain on display through mid-August.
