Big Red, Oak Glen play to tie

NEW MANCHESTER — Oak Glen and Steubenville’s boys soccer teams played to a scoreless tie on Thursday.

Jacob Clark made 18 saves for the Golden Bears, while Jacob Clevenger made two for Big Red.

Oak Glen hosts Magnolia at 1 p.m. Saturday as part of the school’s annual charity boys and girls doubleheader for American War Veterans.

Steubenville travels to Linsly on Thursday.

Creek 4, Cambridge 0

MINGO JUNCTION — The Indian Creek boys soccer team defeated Cambridge at home on Thursday, 4-0.

Alpha Jallow had three goals for the Redskins. Mitch Williams had the other goal. Gunnar Brettell had three assists and Logan Davis made 12 saves.

The Redskins are 5-2 and travel to Harrison Central on Tuesday.
