Creek boys’ last game in Mingo victorious

MINGO JUNCTION — The Indian Creek boys soccer team’s final home game at Mingo Junction concluded with a 5-2 victory over Harrison Central on Tuesday.

The Redskins (5-1-1) expect to play at Kettlewell beginning next week. The new artificial turf was installed early last week.

Vatali Amis and Elijah Llewellyn each led Indian Creek with two goals and an assist. Mitch Williams tallied the final goal, while Gunnar Brettell had two assists. Goalkeeper Coy Amis made 12 saves.

For Harrison Central, Jack Novotny scored both goals. Mack Marshall made 17 saves in goal.

The Redskins travel to Beaver Local on Thursday.
