Weir boys top Trinity

MORGANTOWN — The Weir High boys soccer team defeated Trinity Christian, 4-1, on Monday.

Dante Bruno, Jacob Morgan, Braiden Niven and Tito Feijo had goals for the Red Riders.

Dominic Guiddy and Jacob Morgan had assists.

Jonathan Howard made 10 saves in goal.

The Red Riders are on the road at Tyler Consolidated on Wednesday.

STEUBENVILLE — The Big Red boys soccer team fell, 3-0, at home on Monday.

Josh Lahr made four saves and J.P. Walsh six saves.

Steubenville, now 4-2, is at Weir High on Saturday.

WEIRTON — The Madonna girls soccer team shut out Tyler Consolidated on Monday at home, 6-0.

Kali Krynicki had four goals to lead the way for the Blue Dons, now 4-3.

Angelina Spickard and Kristina Lesho each had a goal.

Isabella Pulice had three assists, while Lesho and Sofis Teresa DiBacco had one.

Madonna is at Catholic Central on Wednesday.

St. Clairsville 4, Edison 0

ST. CLAIRSVILLE — The Edison girls soccer team fell to St. Clairsville on Monday, 4-0.

Alli Grimes made 15 saves for the Wildcats.

Edison hosts Minerva at 3 p.m. Saturday.
