Weir boys fall to North Marion

FARMINGTON — The Weir High boys basketball team fell to North Marion, 76-55, on Saturday.

Brodie McUmar led the Red Riders (7-4) with 10 points. Jayson Nosko had nine points, while Sebastian Spencer and Elijah Gillette evenly divided 16.

Weir High travels to Oak Glen on Tuesday.

North Marion won the JV game, 72-71.

Jazzy Melnyk led the Blue Dons (8-4) with 19 points. Landry Bone, a freshman playing in her first game since knee surgery earlier this season, delivered 16 points, while Madison Costello added seven.

Madonna hosts Catholic Central on Monday.
